The New Montgomery Hall Opens At COTC..

139 students signed up to attend their winter quater at COTC with the finishing of the, Montgomery hall, it is named after Ed an Francis montgomery who started to restore Rosco Villiage to its older roots about 40 years ago.The hall has three floors that it offers classes on an it has a computer lab classroom, a general instuction office, a nursing instruction office, new nursing an chemistry labs, a dinning room an student lounge area. There are 530 students who are enrolled at COTC an of those the average student age is 29 styudents attend from 24 different Ohio counties. I think the new nursing labs will be great for students attending an maby the new expansion will help bring more people into town an maby Coshocton will start looking up. I think all the new labs an such will help benefit the students attending COTC. We all know coshocton needs something good for the community an students to look forward to an I think this new hall is going to be pretty nice at the college. There has been a new program that sends cops to school to help prevent drug use an violence in the schools. State and local law enforcment agencies are bringing community policing to schools. COPS has provided more than 2,300 law enforcment agencies with over 4,900 resource officer through its Cops In Schools program. The program is to help assist law inforcment agencies in hiring officers to collaberate in the schooling communtiy an to use commmunity policing to use in school violence. The federal government is willing to offer guides an reports an training an techniqual assitance to community memebers, school officials an law inforcment that are interested in increasing school saftey.
